Deewane (2000) is a story about everybody who is in Love – who wants to fall in Love
who is looking for Love and those who are fortunate enough to experience Love.
It is a story about Sapna (Urmila Matondkar) a girl full of life and lots of
dreams. She is searching for the unknown: love, passion, care, and happiness.
She finds this in Vishal (Ajay Devgan) or so she thinks a hard cop committed to
his profession. Deewane (2000) is a story about Pooja (Mahima Chaudhary) who has never
confessed her feelings to the man she longs for – does love need to be expressed
through words? Deewane (2000) is a film about happiness and sorrows, union and
separation, love and longing.
