When a pretty young woman (Tanuja) is forced to take up a life of crime, she
joins hands with a professional burglar (Dharmendra). They discover that both of
them have a common agenda and that they also have old scores to settle with the
same set of evildoers. This breezy romance is directed by Padmanabh and has
Jalal Agha, Shobana Samarth (Tanuja’s mother in real life) and K N Singh in the
supporting cast. The film is memorable for its superb soundtrack from R D Burman,
including the racy ‘Chahe Raho Door Chahe Raho Paas’ and the Kishore-Lata duet
‘Kaali Palak Teri Gori.’
