From the house of Time movies comes 'Ehsaas'. Earlier movies of Time were
mainly action dramas like Sabse Bada Khiladi, Gambler, Kurukshetra (that got
Time and Mahesh Manjrekar together) amongst others. But this time, the producer
(Nanjibhai Shah) and writer director Mahesh Manjrekar make a foray into an
emotional drama. Something which is not alien for the director - Remember
Astitva. Dhadkan established that Sunil Shetty can be equally good in melodrama
as he is in action. Hence expectations from the movie seem to be good since it
brings Sunil Shetty and Mahesh Manjrekar together for the first time. But can we
have the same expectations from the music of Ehsaas as well ? Sadly - NO.
Although three music directors Milind Sagar, Anand Raaj Anand, Prajwal Anand and
five lyricists - Madan Pal, Anwar Sagar, Pratik Joseph, Praveen Bhardwaj and
Shyam Anuragi have been roped in for 'In-total' 7 numbers, still none of the
songs leave an impact.
