It’s hate at first sight for a young man (Fardeen Khan) and a girl (Amrita
Arora) who meet in a shopping mall in New York. They’re both Gujaratis, born and
brought up in the United States and are doing some last-minute shopping before
boarding a flight to India, where their parents have fixed up their marriages to
different people (Sonali Kulkarni and Ayub Khan). But destiny takes a hand when
they land up in Delhi airport and lose all their belongings. Forced to travel
together to Gujarat, on a bus, compelled to masquerade as a married couple,
their feelings for each other undergo a sea-change and they fall deeply in love,
but they cannot go against family traditions.
