A young rebel Rahul (Tusshar), who wants to live life on his own terms and
conditions lives with his parents in New Zealand. He meets Esha (Esha Deol) in
college and gradually they fall in love. Esha thinks love automatically leads to
marriage but Rahul doesnt. He has seen his parents (Rajesh Khanna, Smita Jaykar)
fight through their 25 years of relationship. He doesnt want to get married
simply live in. Esha who has had the comfort of a close knit joint family is
appalled at the idea and so are her parents (Raj Babbar, Neena Kulkarni).
